Dogs do incredible things, and today’s story is about a mother dog who did something amazing for her puppies. 

Irresistible Cry for Help 

When it got really cold, the mom dog knew her little ones were in trouble. So, she found some people and asked for help with her eyes. They couldn’t ignore her, so they followed her back to where she was hiding her puppies under a construction site. The puppies were scared of the strangers at first, but they were okay.

Humans to the Rescue 

The people took the puppies to the vet. They were all healthy except for one named Keri, who had a sickness called Parvovirus. It’s a bad sickness for puppies, but it has a treatment. Keri’s brothers and sisters found new homes, and their mom went to a shelter. The vets looked after Keri really well.

Forever Home for Keri’s Mom

In a week, Keri was feeling much better and could play with other dogs. The vet gave her another vaccine shot, and then one of the rescuers took her home. The mom dog found a home too, after staying in the shelter for a bit.

Keri Found Happiness 

Now, all of them have wonderful homes. Keri might be in foster care or maybe her rescuers adopted her. No matter what, Keri is a happy and wonderful dog now.
