A cat mom lived peacefully with her very young kittens in a yard. Everything was fine until one day, rescuers came and the mom got scared and ran away. The rescue team took the kittens to a shelter for kittens, but they needed more help to take care of the little ones.
A Safe Place for the Kitties
A lady named Alissa, who helps run a shelter called Wrenn Rescues, got a call about these kittens. They were very young, only 10 days old, and needed someone to feed them with a bottle because their mom wasn’t there. Alissa and her friends worked fast, and with the help of a kind lady named CJ, they got the kittens to a safe place in Ventura County.
At Wrenn Rescues, two caregivers, Ashley and Jenifer, started to take care of the kittens. They fed them with a bottle and kept them warm and cozy. Jenifer said that the kittens looked healthy, which meant their cat mom had taken good care of them. She also said that it’s better to leave kittens where they are because their mom might come back for them.
Momma Comes Looking for Her Purrecious Babies
And guess what? The cat mom did come back! She was looking for her babies near the yard where they were first found. The people who found her knew she was looking for her kittens, so they caught her and brought her to the shelter where her babies were.

At first, the cat mom was scared and didn’t know what was happening. But then, Ashley, one of the staff at the shelter, showed her one of her kittens. When the cat mom saw her baby, she felt better. She came out of the box she was in and went to her kittens. She started to purr, to show that she is happy and relaxed.
A Happy Family
The next day, Ashley woke up to the sound of the cat mom purring. She was holding her kittens close, and she didn’t want to let them go. It was a happy ending for the cat family, and they were all doing well because of the rescuers who helped them.
